Meet Fran
If this is the first time you are visiting, welcome. For
those of you who have visited before, thank you for your
support.
I've created this business out of love:

Love for my family who've battled this disease

Love for a friend whose life was taken by this demon
called breast cancer

Love for the artists and vendors I've come to know who
created the beautiful pink ribbon items you'll find on
our site
- Love for all the women I've met while chairing the
American Cancer Society's Virginia Women's Golf
Tournament to Fight Breast Cancer

Love for the men I've met who are proud to wear pink
ribbons because they too are victims
-
Love for all of us whom but for the grace of God, have
not personally heard those words "you have breast
cancer,"

Love for my granddaughters who I hope never have to
hear those words
If you are familiar with BogeysandBirdies.com®, you know about my
Pink Ribbon Store. I decided to launch
Pink-Ribbon-Store.com because I felt these items deserved
their own "home" on the Internet.
My approach to making a difference throughout the United
States and internationally has taken a new direction. I
wanted to include you, our customers, into helping me make
a difference.
When you purchase any item from us, you will have the
choice
of where you would like our donation to go.
If you do not select
a charity for your donation it will automatically go to
the American Cancer Society's fight against
breast cancer.
While we've tried to capture as many breast cancer research
foundations and organizations as we could, we know there
are others out there. We're asking each of you to
let us know about them and we will be happy to consider
them. If you or someone you know has created pink ribbon
items,
let us know.
It is very important to us that these organizations
dedicate a substantial portion of their donations to
research and not overhead. They must also provide services
within their communities for patient advocacy, programs to
bolster one's self esteem, programs where you have someone
to turn to for comfort and guidance as victims travel down
the road to recovery.
We ask that you do your own research when making donations,
no matter what charity they are to. As time goes on, we
will be adding several other "ribbon families" to our other
businesses as we find quality items and organizations that
are doing their part to make a difference. TournamentTreasures.com will support AIDS
research and EveryTEE.com will support putting an end to
domestic violence.
We will be adding new items regularly, so visit often.

Fran Romeo, the owner of Pink-Ribbon-Store.com,
BogeysandBirdies.com® and everyTEE.com
helped the chair of the 7th Annual Virginia
Women's Golf Tournament to Fight Breast Cancer and
chaired the 8th and 9th Annual Virginia Women's Golf
Tournament to Fight Breast Cancer at Westfields Golf Club
in Clifton, Virginia. With the help of Fran, sponsors,
players, volunteers and loyal customers, these events
netted over $250,000 for breast cancer research. Before
stepping down as chair of the 10th Anniversary celebration,
Fran was instrumental with the help of her committee in
raising over $60,000 and obtaining silent auction items as
well as door prizes and the raffle prizes.
